What does International Social Service do?
ISS offers professional social work services to people in Australia and
overseas who have social or socio-legal problems resulting from migration
and international movement.
ISS has particular concern with the protection
of the most vulnerable families and children. ISS provides inter-country
casework and advocacy in areas such as child protection and welfare, family
reunification, contact issues, child abduction, international tracing of family of origin,
settlement assistance and intercountry adoption.
