What does International Social Service do?

ISS offers professional social work services to people in Australia and overseas who have social or socio-legal problems resulting from migration and international movement.

ISS has particular concern with the protection of the most vulnerable families and children. ISS provides inter-country casework and advocacy in areas such as child protection and welfare, family reunification, contact issues, child abduction, international tracing of family of origin, settlement assistance and intercountry adoption.
