IPCA Legal Assistance Service
December 2011: ISS Australia has recently been funded by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department (the Commonwealth Central Authority under the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction) for a new service providing legal assistance to Australian applicants under the 1980 Convention.
The service will be delivered by two part-time (0.6 EFT) qualified lawyers experienced in family law and located in the National (Melbourne) and NSW (Sydney) Offices respectively.
The service is expected to become operational early in 2012. Further information will be added to this site in the near future.
