ISS Australia is part of the global International Social Service network made up of over 140 member and partner countries. International Social Service's mission globally is to provide support to families and children separated by international borders. ISS member and partner organisations provide practical, psychological and legal services to support families.

The scope of work varies between member and partner organisations, and includes work in child protection, child abduction, children on the move and pre and post adoption care. The ISS Global Report 2019 - 2020 provides a fascinating insight into the work of the network and the motivated staff working hard to support families throughout the world.
