Ukraine Crisis calls for a Network of Support

For around 100 years, International Social Service (ISS) has been a global network that works shoulder to shoulder in 130 countries to protect children, adults and families separated by borders.

The International Social Service global network is working right now for the protection of children and families affected by the devastating war in Ukraine.

All children have the right to life and survival - we must protect them

There are 7.5 million Ukrainian children who along with their families are either still caught in the middle of this war or have been forced from their homes in the freezing cold winter. They are facing physical and mental harm and mass displacement.

Give globally to the ISS network

The International Social Service global network is working for the protection of children and families affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine. Your donation goes directly to the ISS network partners who are working now with separated Ukrainian children families. Please specify donations as 'Support for Ukraine'. Please donate to one of these three network units directly supporting Ukrainian children and families or send your donation to ISS Australia and we will pass on.

Keep Families Together

Under the Convention of the Rights of Child (CRC) all children have the right to life and to be protected by states from violence. ISS also notes it is the best interests of the child to remain with their family wherever possible. Children must be reunited with their families as soon as it is safe to do so and not be placed in longer-term foster care or adoption arrangements.
